December 21, 2021
Another great milestone for 3DLife last week. Our company has participated in the successful launching of Tendyne valve from Abbott in Greece by providing 3D printed heart models for presurgical planning for 2 patients.
Congratulations to Heart Team in Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center for launching another innovative technology and therapy in our country, targeting patients suffering from mitral regurgitation and to the Abbott Structural Team for making available this product in Greece.
Global Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Market is expected to grow from $1 billion in 2021 to $5 billion by 2028 (source: Edwards Lifesciences Investor presentation Dec 2021) and 3Dprinting is expected to play a pivotal role in presurgical planning to avoid Left Ventricular Outflow Tract (LVOT) Obstruction which is a primary concern in this type of procedures among others.
