Our 3D Printed models were presented in a poster presentation under the title “Use of 3D Printing in the evaluation of complex congenital Heart disease” made by our Chief Scientific Officer Dr. G. Sarris and his medical team in the Association for European Pediatric and Congenital Cardiology (AEPC) meeting in Rome. The poster was focusing on the pre-surgical planning and the 3D printing-modeling benefits in the effort to prevent complications and facilitate Personalized Surgery approaches. As stated in the poster: “the models proved helpful for diagnostic appreciation of the anatomy, family education, surgical decision making, pre-operative planning and surgical simulation”.
